Scoring tips of each section in PTE

Tips and tricks have been helping aspirants since time immemorial. Same goes for the PTE exam, the right tips and tricks can work wonders for you. So let's make your PTE journey easy with these formulas:


  • Speaking Section:

The very first section of the whole lengthy question paper is the Speaking Section. What matters in this particular section are regular practice and fluency. If you have attempted with the correct technique, you will surely score well. The two sub task types which candidates find difficult is:

  • Describe the image: A variety of images appear throughout this task type making it difficult to analyze. So what you can do is that you can analyze the images if they are pie charts or graphs and then speak based on your analyzing skills. If there is an image of a household, there is no need to waste your time analyzing it deeply. You can simply start with what you see in the picture.

  • Retell lecture: Always make use of the scratch pads which you will get in the real PTE exam. Use them to write an important topic of discussion in the retell lecture. Do not hesitate to use your own words until or unless it’s in context to what's being said in the audio.

  • Writing section:
The writing section is all about spelling, grammar, vocabulary and written disclosure. You need to be good in all these to score good marks in the Writing Section. The PTE experts are there to help you out through the one to one online PTE training.

  • Summarize written text: The Summarize Written Text should always starts with a capital letter and ends with a full stop. The summary should be in a single sentence and a single full stop. The word limit should not be more than 50-70 words.


  • Reading:
The reading section is a tricky one as a lot of task types are there in it. Collocations play an important role when it comes to the Reading section.

  • Reorder paragraphs: When you will come across four separate lengthy statements and they don’t make any sense. A lot of time goes into arranging these statements in a meaningful paragraph.   • Listening:
