PTE Academic: detail on pricing

PTE Academic is the most convenient examination for evaluating your English 
proficiency. If you are wondering about the fees of this exam in your country then 
this blog will tell you everything about the PTE pricing that you need to know. The 
fees of this exam are not cheap so you should prepare yourself thoroughly by 
taking the PTE mock test before taking the PTE exam. 
PTE Academic Fees 
The primary fee of the PTE Academic means the booking fee for the exam. Below 
is a list of test fee of PTE Academic in different countries. Look up your country in 
this list and find how much the PTE Academic costs you. There are two pricing – 
one is the standard price and another is a later pricing.

How can I make the payment? 
I know how annoying it is when your card is not accepted during online payment. 
This sometimes happens because we use a wrong card type to make the payment. 
Let me guide you about which is the correct card type for making the payment for 
the PTE Academic exam. The acceptable credit cards are Visa, MasterCard, 
American Express and JCB. Whereas the acceptable debit cards are Visa and 
MasterCard.  
Once you make the payment and the transaction goes through then you will receive 
an email confirming the payment and the test appointment.  
Rescheduling and Cancellation Fees 
As I mentioned earlier the fees of the exam are expensive so you should prepare 
yourself by taking the PTE mock test and evaluating your performance. Once you 
are sure of getting a good score on the exam, you can take the PTE Academic 
exam.  
Sometimes due to some unforeseen circumstances, you might have to reschedule 
or cancel an upcoming test appointment. This can either be done on the phone or 
online. 
Rescheduling the appointment  
If you are planning to reschedule the exam more than 7 days before your test date 
then your new booking will be reduced in price. You will have to pay 25% of the 
original test payment fees for the new booking date.  
If you are planning to reschedule the exam less than 7 days before the exam then 
you will have to pay the full booking fees for the test appointment.  
Cancellation 
If you decide to cancel the exam more than 7 days before the test date then you will 
get a refund of 50% of the test fees but if there are 7 days or less left for the exam 
then you will receive no refund. Your test fees will go wasted.   
PTE Rescoring fee 
You should take the exam only after you are prepared for it. Take online PTE 
coaching to be ready for the exam and opt for PTE mock test to understand the 
exam and improve your score. PTE mock test is a simulation of the PTE exam so it 
will help you to ace the exam.  
After taking the exam and receiving your score, if you are not happy with what you 
have received and you think there might have been some issue with scoring then 
you can request a re score. You will have to contact the Pearson Customer service in 
14 days. The cost of a re score is $100. If your score changes then the re score fee is 
refunded to you.
